Hello, I'm Mike Schnider. My wife and I both grew up in the Northwest. Kimberly grew up in Kennewick, WA where she was very involved in showing appaloosa horses. Every weekend for her seemed to be spent at a horse show somewhere, and if not, she was at some sort of activity outdoors. I was born and raised on the Camas Prairie in Central Idaho. As soon as I was old enough, I spent every spare minute big game hunting, steelhead fishing and pheasant or chucker hunting on the Salmon and Snake Rivers. Golden Retrievers became a part of our lives when Kim and I met and we purchased our first female. She had a heart of gold and gave it all when we went hunting. She was the best family dog and over the years she took our daughter through Dog 4H, winning top honors in obedience. She could do that and then turn around and go to the field hunting. Kim and I both share a deep love for the true "field bred hunting golden retriever" that grew on us and subsequently turned into a breeding program. Together, Kim and I strive to breed and raise the best hunting golden and lifetime family pets available.
